Penn
Foster Learning Experience
Achieving
success means having skills that are
in demand - and Penn Foster at-home education
is the fastest, most convenient way to
acquire those skills. Penn Foster programs
are designed for busy adults, allowing
them to train for better careers without
quitting their current jobs or rearranging
their schedules.
The Penn Foster commitment to your education
is reflected in every part of our training
method, from the ease of enrollment to
toll-free instructor support. Your new
career is waiting - all you need is ambition,
the desire to succeed, and the education
you'll receive from Penn Foster.
The typical Penn Foster student experience
goes like this:
- 1. ENROLLMENT - First, choose
the program that most interests you.
Read online about the projected salary
and growth figures, and the description
of your future career. Check out the
success stories of former students.
You can then enroll online. As soon
as you enroll, we'll ship you your
first package of program materials
and you'll be on your way!
- 2. STARTING AND COMPLETING YOUR
LESSONS - You should begin your
lessons as soon as you receive them
- the sooner you start, the sooner
you'll earn your Diploma. You
can be certain that your Penn Foster
program has been written by experts
in your field and features the latest
techniques and information.
We want you to master concepts, not just memorize
facts, so all your exams are open book. Complete
your exams and submit your answers via Tel-Test -
our telephone-based testing system, online at our
website, or by mail. As soon as you pass your exam,
you can go on to the next lesson!
- 3. GETTING HELP WHEN YOU NEED
IT - Your program is designed
so that you can learn at home. However, if
you should have a question about
anything in your program, just call
our toll-free instructional support
hotline. Our staff is on duty to
answer your questions from 8 a.m.
to 7 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through
Friday. After that time, and on weekends
and holidays, you can leave a message
and your call will be answered the
next business day. You can also contact
your instructors by mail or e-mail,
if you desire.
- 4. TUITION PAYMENTS - Unlike
most schools, Penn Foster offers its
programs on easy, monthly payments
for the same price as if you paid in
full. "0% financing" means you'll never
pay a penny in interest or finance
charges to Penn Foster. So you can
improve your career skills without
straining your budget.
Your monthly payments are due on the same day each
month. Penn Foster will send you a payment booklet
to help you keep track of your payments. It is important
for you to keep up with your payments so you can
avoid delays in the shipment of your program materials.
- 5. GRADUATION - Once you complete
your program, you'll have the skills
to start a new career! You'll have
the knowledge you need and the pride
that comes with achievement. Depending upon the program you choose, you can complete
your training in just a few months from today! Or,
take longer if you wish - you have up to two years
to complete a program.*
Once you have passed all your courses and fulfilled all financial obligations, you'll receive your diploma from Penn Foster. You'll
want to display it proudly as a symbol of your dedication.
Your open-book exams will be graded on the following
