FACES OF PENN FOSTER

“My name is Diana A., and I live in Latvia. I am studying to be a Pharmacy Technician. Yes, I often read the Penn Foster student newsletter. The way to Penn Foster is very different for each student. What is my way? The term “economic crisis” is very worn out and tedious. I think you should simply do something for the pleasure and the comfort of it. Why not learn? At first, I practiced the English language and then I looked for a new profession and new possibilities in my life. I don’t know if I will get a job as a Pharmacy Technician in my country, but I don’t feel that I chose the wrong subject to study. I just wanted to learn. The study units and materials were very instructive. Thanks! I had fun learning! The phrase “live and learn” only applies partially in my country. The international education experience is a worthy one and exciting. My hobby is photography, and I have been a member of the Photo Club for 10 years. My dream is a career in fashion design. Right now it is only a dream because my real life and dreams are often in conflict. I have met wonderful, creative people at exhibitions and enjoy taking pictures and making design sketches. Usually the sketches are only of me and on paper. But I am happy!”     —DIANA A. of Latvia
