FACES OF PENN FOSTER

“I’m a young man aged thirty six and a Malawian by nationality. I came across Penn Foster, the then International Correspondence School, and I enrolled for a civil engineering program in 1996, but failed to graduate due to the lack of funds. Despite the hardships and frustrations, I did not give up my dream of becoming the person I always wanted to be.

More than a decade later, I enrolled again for a pharmacy technician program, from which I have finally graduated and have received several recommendations from management in all the work places. I’m doing my internship, and I’m assured of getting a good job once I finish my training. The quality of education at Penn Foster is undoubtedly the best, and it can be compared to other schools. Since continued education and research in the field of pharmacy make it a challenging field as new drugs are explored every day, as a pharmacy technician I would like to be involved in research.

Education can open doors to greater opportunities and there are plenty of institutions world-wide offering different programs but only a few meet the criteria of being reputable institutions. Penn Foster is not only one of those reputable institutions but is also an institution that offers its programs at an affordable rate. I wish Penn Foster could introduce doctor’s degree programs in the field of pharmacology so that we can continue with our studies, as it is expensive to study with some of the universities.”
