THE NEWSLETTER OF PENN FOSTER CAREER SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL — January 2012

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

Beginning a New Year typically prompts people to examine the previous year for accomplishments and disappointments. It is a time to examine oneself, look for areas that need improvement, and then set goals and make changes in the New Year.

We know many of you want to change jobs or careers, to make more money, to get a promotion, to learn something new, to be an inspiration for your children, and more. You have chosen Penn Foster to help meet these goals. We take your resolution to change and reach your goals seriously and we are proud and humbled that you chose Penn Foster to attain them. Our goal is to help you.

We also have New Year’s resolutions. We promise that 2012 will be markedly different at Penn Foster for the staff, employees, and also for YOU — our students. This past year, we conducted a thorough examination of our school, looking to where we fell short and then asked ourselves where we need to make improvements. We polled you, our students, for your ideas, opinions, and feedback. We read and searched your comments on social media portals like eCampus, Facebook, and blogs.

After much examination of our educational programs, our communications and interactions with our students and more, we are working diligently to further improve the student experience and success rate. We have fully embraced the New Year mentality and have set vigorous goals for ourselves. The faculty and staff at Penn Foster recognize the importance of being your partner in education, and we realize that your success depends on our reaching out to you and you reaching out to us. We are working hard to provide more instructor led student engagement, use more video learning aids, provide a faster response to your calls and emails, and expand our social media channels so that you have more ways to interact with us – basically, an improved student experience with faster and better service.

Thank you for your participation and feedback. Our main goal for the New Year is to help you achieve your educational and life goals. Penn Foster wishes you a Happy, Healthy, and Successful New Year.
