Announcing Penn Foster College!

Penn Foster College On April 3, 2006, Penn Foster College officially opened its doors. Students enrolled in a degree program with Penn Foster Career School automatically became part of the new Penn Foster College.

“This is an exciting day for all present and future students of Penn Foster College,” announced Dr. Richard W. Ferrin, the new President of Penn Foster College, “Students can expect changes such as the start of a Dean’s List and formal graduation ceremonies.”

The new Penn Foster College is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and will continue holding its national accreditation through the Distance Education and Training Council in Washington, DC. In addition, more than 140 courses have been approved for college and university credit by ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service. The American Council on Education, ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service (formerly ACE/PONSI), is nationally recognized as a major coordinating body for postsecondary education.
